Davines hair fashion show comes to town - Davines Hair Show 2008

The Davines Hair Show 2008 entitled "Beside the loom, the woman weaves her hair", will take place on June 14 at Hoa binh Theater in downtown Hcm city
The show, co-hosted by three hair-care product companies, Davines, TIGI and Create, will feature ten hairstylists from Italy, Australia, China, South Korea and Vietnam to introduce new techniques and trends, using 90 models selected by Vietnamese model Xuan Lan.

The models will take turns showing-off their new hair cuts, colors and styles for followers of hair fashion trends, including the popular Unisex trend which accompanies the same trend of fashion this year.

Viet Tu, director of the show, said that the Davines Hair Show is staged as a play, showcasing many different kinds of contemporary arts such as video art, conceptual art, architecture, sculpture and performance art. He added that he had lots of ideas for the performances in the show and would bring fresh creativity to it.

In 2007, a Davines Hair Show titled "Party of The Followers" took place in Hanoi to find the best young hair stylist to represent Vietnam at the Asian and World Contest of Davines.

Bui Duc Thinh won the ticket to the world hair design competition in Barcelona (Spain) in October 2007 where he also won the highest prize in the competition.
