The administration of the central province of Phu Yen has issued an investment license for Brunei’s New City Properties Development Company to build a high-grade tourism complex to the tune of US$4.3 billion.
The project will feature luxury resorts, 4,300 five-star and 8,900 four-star hotel rooms, 160 high-grade villas, a 36-hole golf course and many other service facilities, according to the Phu Yen Department of Planning and Investment.
The project, which is scheduled for completion in 2017, will cover 565 hectares in Tuy Hoa City.
The Phu Yen People’s Committee has also issued investment licenses to three new and two expanded projects with a combined capital of almost US$64 million.
These projects are expected to create jobs for more than 33,000 workers.
