Singing Contest for Vietnamese Youths in Japan
A freshly-ended singing contest for Vietnamese youths and students in Japan is considered as a significant event, offering them a chance to join in community-based activities and uphold the traditional culture.
Launched on May 1 by the Vietnamese Youths and Students Association in Japan (VYSA), the contest, the first ever of its kind, drew the participation of nearly 30 young people, of whom 10 selected for the final round.
Organisers handed over the first prize to Hoang Trung Hieu from Osaka.
On the occasion, the Embassy of Viet nam in Japan and the Mai Linh Group presented gifts to VYSA to support its cultural activities.
