Hotels Offer Deals to Vietnam Summer Travelers

Many hotels, resorts, and travel agents are offering special deals to attract tourists this summer.


The five-star Majestic hotel offers a night in a deluxe colonial room to businessmen for US$179 and to married couples for US$309. This includes free airport pick-up, sightseeing tours, laundry, buffets breakfasts, and dinner. This promotion will last until September.

The four-star Grand hotel has a summer promotion that includes free airport transfer, laundry, massage, dinner, evening tea, 10 percent off for food and beverages, and 15 percent off for Tour Desk and Health Club services. Visitors who book premium rooms for two, three, or four nights will be offered these extras.

If you stay in the three-star Liberty 1 Hotel between now and July 31, you will pay only US$68 a one night for a deluxe room regularly priced at US$109. A premium deluxe room is US$78 (instead of US$129), and a deluxe business room is US$88 (instead of US$169), and a suite is US$130 (instead of US$179). The extras include one-way airport transfer (for three consecutive staying nights), laundry, daily buffet breakfast, bottles of mineral water, and WiFi.

The three-star Metropole Hotel charges US$70 for a night for a deluxe room (instead of US$139). A business deluxe is US$90 (instead of US$200), and a suite is US$110 (instead of US$270). Visitors can enjoy one-way airport transfer after staying five consecutive nights. Other extras include a daily buffet breakfast at L'Orient Restaurant, two taxi vouchers per room per night, bottles of mineral water, WiFi, and gym admission, including the use of an outdoor swimming pool. This promotion runs until August 31.

You can enjoy the sea, the sun and the sand on Phu quoc island in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang and have a chance to relax at the Saigon Phuquoc resort and Spa, a luxury five-star resort and spa. The lowest priced room is US$55 (instead of US$129) for one night. The hotel offers an optional three-day two-night package tour. Water sports are discounted by 30 - 40 percent and guests get 10 percent off for the buffet. This promotion will last until September 30.

The resort offers 50 percent off for a room for two including free buffet breakfast, airport pick-up, a performance of Vietnamese traditional music and 15 percent off for buffet dinner.

From now until July 25, tourists can take advantage of low-cost tours to Phu Quoc from Ho chi minh city through Saigontourist Travel. The regular price of a three-day tour from HCMC to Phu Quoc is VND 1.4 million (US$88) to VND 2.8 million (US$170) for one person (not including flights). However, the price will be reduced to VND 500,000 (US$30) for families (a couple and two children) and VND 350,000 (US$21) for couples.
A three day tour from HCMC to Phu Quoc is offered by Fiditourist for VND 2.23 million (US$137) for one person, 30 percent off compared to the listed price.

The four-star Yasaka Saigon hotel in Nha Trang offers a three-day and two-night package tour for only US$99. Guests will stay in a deluxe sea view room and enjoy a free buffet breakfast (lunch or dinner), WiFi, airport pick-up, and an island tour.
