Rome hosts photo exhibition on Vietnam’s A/O victims

As many as 20 large-sized black-and-white photos on the lasting effect of Agent Orange in Vietnam are on show at an art gallery in Rome until June 26.

The pictures, taken by Italian photographer Livio Senigalliesi, had relived the plight of a number of Vietnamese A/O, who are victims of the Agent Orange sprayed during the war that ended in 1975.

The author said he expected the exhibition would raise the world public understandings of the sufferings left behind by the war to the ordinary Vietnamese people.

The exhibition has welcomed hundreds of Italian and foreign visitors, including many anti-war activists during the US war in Vietnam . A number of young people who are interested in Vietnam today have also visited the “ Vietnam , 30 years later” photo show.
